HOUSTON (Houston Business Journal) – Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) completed its $2 billion purchase of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System.
The system, to be known as St. Luke’s Heath System, includes the Texas Medical Center campus and suburban hospitals in The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Pasadena and The Vintage.
As part of the deal announced last month, CHI will contribute $1 billion to a new Episcopal Health Foundation along with an equal sum for future investment in the health system.
