A great time was had by all at the annual Spring Lakes Neighborhood 4th of July Parade! Decorated bikes, strollers, golf carts, and fire trucks made for a festive parade.
The Spring Volunteer Fire Department led the parade with the Sheriff’s Department bringing up the rear.
The weather was hot and sunny but the kids had a great time. This is one of several neighborhood events held throughout the year in this beautiful neighborhood.
Prizes were awarded for the best decorated “float”.
Thanks to all of the the coordinators!

The board voted at the Jan. 24th board meeting to contract with the Greater Houston Pool (GHP) Management Company to open the pool from May 30th until September 5th.
Although during the past two years, the pool was opened during weekends of May and September, attendance rosters revealed low resident participation. The Association will save approximately $4000 by opening up the pool for the shorter season from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Please contact Krystle Vestal, Assistant Manager, at 281-681-2000 if there are concerns with the shortened pool season.
The Spring Lakes HOA Recognition:
The HOA Board of Directors would like to take an opportunity to recognize the Events Committee as well as the below-mentioned homeowners for their willingness to lend a helping hand:
• The Events Committee sponsored a Fall Carnival (October 2010) and a Santa fire-truck community drive. The entrance monuments were beautifully decorated for the holidays as well. Events such as the Boo Carnival would not have been possible without the support of many individuals who volunteered their time.
• For the December holiday, Event Committee judges recognized the following light contest winners: (on the East Side) 25503 Lyons Springs, 906 Spring Source, 911 Buffalo Springs Way; (on the West Side) 25722 Lake Springs Way, 25710 White Springs, and 311 Spring Lakes Haven.
Congratulations to these fantastic residents who help make Spring Lakes in Spring, Texas an amazing place to live!

Everyone had a great time at the Spring Lakes “Boo” Carnival this year in Spring Lakes! Between the hay rides, bouncy houses, face painting, games, and of course the James Coney Island hot dogs, my crew had a full day of it. Beautiful weather helped make this event a fun and exciting tradition enjoyed by all in Spring Lakes!
RREA was a proud sponsor and we look forward to next year!
