As a Director on the Texas Realtors Board, we meet twice a year to hear from NAR and Texas Realtors Leadership, TREC, our committee chairs, and the economist at Texas A&M University. A few weeks ago when we met in Fort Worth, NAR Leadership was there to update us on the NAR Lawsuit going on now.
NAR’s Executive Leadership Team weighted in on the current lawsuit at our Texas Realtors Board Meeting and stated that the Plaintiff in the lawsuit has the facts and laws wrong. They stated that consumers benefit greatly by the current MLS System that is fed by broker’s original data.
The anti-trust lawsuit will continue to be of interest to both Realtors and consumers as it plays out in the courts.
