- My good friend (and fellow Georgia Bulldog) Dr. Jim Gaines, Senior Economist from the Real Estate Research Center at the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University, joins us via Skype for two very informative segments. The first covers the national real estate outlook and the second covers the Texas and Houston Metro real estate outlook. This is a very informative half hour of radio! - Rita Santamaria joins us in the third segment. She is a local real estate legend and the President and Founder of Champions School of Real Estate. She has educated the state’s real estate professionals since 1983 and has locations all over the state. She talks about some of the changes in real estate professionals and how they have had to adjust to the changing consumer spending habits in the last several years. - Chuck Jacobus is a legendary real estate attorney and Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Houston. He joins us in the studio to talk about lease to own and rent to own properties and how this is very tricky with in Texas. He also talks seller financing.
