The development, a project of The Howard Hughes Corporation, also won awards for its landscape design, welcome center and interactive point-of-sale experience and was a finalist in numerous other categories.

Bridgeland’s newest awards join others won earlier in the year, including best landscape design, given in The Nationals 2012 competition sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. Bridgeland also won a Landmark Award this spring from the Houston Business Journal for its traditional neighborhood development of Lakeland Heights.

Last year, the Texas Association of Builders named Bridgeland its Developer of the Year and the community was a 2011 Community of the Year Silver Award winner in the National Association of Home Builders’ The Nationals competition. Bridgeland won The Nationals Gold Award for Community of the Year in 2009.
