At the Northwest Houston Chamber of Commerce meeting last month the topic was on the Green Median project. TXDOT will be installing raised medians and extended left turn lanes on FM 1960 from I-45 to Mills Road in 2010. The Green Medians Committee wants to improve these medians with landscaping. Civic-minded water districts have agreed to pay the cost of watering and maintaining the medians. Our community will be raising funds for the landscaping, irrigation system, and installation.
