There seems to be no slowing down in this current housing market. The new key word is “SPEED!” If you are a buyer, go to showings with your checkbook in hand. Be prepared to make a good and speedy offer. Inventory is going fast and that doesn’t look like it will change as we head into Spring and Summer.
So many homes have been scooped up so fast in our Houston area. It has caused home prices to increase. We are at 13 year lows when it comes to housing inventory levels. The average sales price is up almost 10% over last year at this time. Last year at this time we were at 5.6 months of inventory and now we are at 3.6 months. If you haven’t noticed — it’s time to SELL!
