HOUSTON (Lionstone Group) – A defining landmark of downtown has been purchased for the first time on an individual basis since its 1929 construction.
Located in the central business district of Houston, Lionstone acquired 712 Main Street, a 794,186-sf office tower.
The 37-story art deco skyscraper is the Texas headquarters for JPMorgan Chase’s southwest banking operations. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the tower is 85 percent leased to 43 tenants.
Lionstone retained Transwestern to manage and lease the property. HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Brookfield Asset Management Inc.
