WASHINGTON (Fort Worth Star-Telegram) – The price of a 30-year fixed rate mortgage has fallen for the fourth straight week.
Breaking last week’s record-low rate of 3.79 percent, the new U.S. average rate for a 30-year mortgage is now at 3.78 percent. The 30-year rate has remained below 4 percent since December.
The average rate on a 15-year fixed mortgage held on to last week’s record low of 3.04 percent.
