TEXAS (Texas Department of Transportation & Austin Business Journal) – The Texas Department of Transportation has compiled a list of the 100 most congested roadway segments in Texas.
The Capital City has 11 roads on the list while the top five are in Dallas, Harris and Travis Counties.
This analysis shows where large traffic volumes will likely move slowly but does not identify bottlenecks caused by intersecting roadways or poor roadway geometry. Information was gathered from more than 80,000 miles of road.
