HOUSTON (Houston Business Journal)
Texas’ largest city just keeps getting larger. In fact, a recent study of Census data showed that Houston grew faster than any other U.S. city between 2000 and 2010. The study, by Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research, found that Houston grew by 1.2 million — more than New York, Los Angeles or Chicago. Coming in close behind Houston in growth was the Metroplex. In fact, the Bayou City bested DFW by only 21,000.
