HOUSTON (Houston Business Journal) — Goodbye, Houston Club building. Hello, Capitol Tower.
Skanska USA plans to replace the 18-story building and two other structures acquired in September 2011 with a new 34-story office tower and parking garage.
Plans for the building, dubbed Capitol Tower, are not finished. Construction will not start until a major tenant is secured.
The Houston office of San Francisco-based Gensler is the design architect for the tower.
