FAIRFAX, Va. (Corpus Christi Caller-Times) – Employment in Houston’s energy industry is about to get another boost, thanks to a corporate relocation.

Irving-based Exxon Mobil Corp. plans to transfer 2,000 employees from its Fairfax County, Va., campus, which currently serves as the company’s refining operations headquarters.

The relocation to Houston will happen in 2014. It is expected to coincide with Exxon Mobil’s large mixed-use campus being built near The Woodlands.
