FMC Consolidating at Generation Park
HOUSTON (Houston Business Journal) – A locally based oil and gas equipment company broke ground Friday on its new campus at Generation Park.
FMC Technologies Inc. bought 173 acres there in late 2012. The company plans to consolidate all of its Houston facilities there within the next ten years.
Employees will move to the campus from the company’s ten facilities in phases, starting with the western subsea services operations in 2016. Within two years, 1,800 of FMC’s 3,700 Houston employees are expected to be there.
