HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle)
– Hines is planning a luxury apartment complex in Uptown, near the Williams
Tower, Galleria mall and Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park.
Company Senior Vice President Alan Patton said the building will be six
to eight stories tall and contain about 300 units. Construction is
expected to begin in first quarter 2012 and take two years.
Hines purchased the property at the northeast corner of Hidalgo and McCue
last month from Turnberry Houston Tower.
