HOUSTON (Cadence McShane Construction) – The 89,383-sf Robert Lee Frost Elementary School has been completed by Cadence McShane on behalf of the Houston Independent School District.

The nearly $12 million educational facility is on an 11-acre tract at 5002 Almeda Genoa Rd. The single-story primary school offers 40 classrooms, providing space for 750 students.

Built to LEED-Silver standards, the facility serves as a replacement school for the existing 60,753-sf, 47-year-old Robert Lee Frost Elementary School at 5650 Selinksky Rd.

The school is part of an $805 million bond initiative that voters approved in 2007. RDC Architects provided the architectural services for the project.
