SAN ANTONIO (San Antonio Business Journal) – Employment numbers continue their upward trend for Texas’ construction industry.
Texas added more construction jobs than any other state between September 2011 and September 2012.
According to Arlington, Va.-based Associated General Contractors of America, the Lone Star State added 32,800 industry jobs over the past year, bringing the sector’s total employment to 592,300.
Of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, Texas was one of 23 to record a net growth in construction jobs.
