Register Real Estate Advisors has a Commerical Real Estate Division that services all of the Houston Area.  With the help of RREA’s Commercial Realtors, you can purchase, lease, or sell any commercial real estate.  That includes developed and undeveloped land.  When you are purchasing real estate for a business, location is everything!  You want to consider the signage, the visibility, the walk and drive by traffic, the type of restrictions the contruction will have, utilities available, and much more.  You want a Realtor with experience.  Once you can trust to protect you in the transaction.

When considering a commercial site, look at the parking options for consumers.  How many street entrances are there?  In retail, the average 1K sq ft of floor space needs four to five parking spaces.  You want those parking spaces as close to the front door as possible.  Retail customers want convenience.  You also want to make it easy for people to turn into your business, by using a red light or a turning lane.  You don’t want to make drivers nervous about getting into you place of business.  You will want to be in a high traffic and high visibility location where consumers can easily find you.

The second thing to consider is the signage and it is usually negotiated into a rental or purchase.  Sometimes there are sign restrictions.  In The Woodlands, Texas we have very strict sign requirements.
