Months ago ExxonMobil announced that it will building in Spring, Texas off of I45 between Spring and The Woodlands. The residents of Spring are anticipating rising home prices due to demand, but also a little traffic congestion. The new ExxonMobil Campus is relocating into the Spring Independent School District where it is receiving a warm welcome. News reports indicate employees are projected to start working at the new campus in 2014 with more moving in through 2015.

Outside of the ExxonMobil Campus a new master planned community – Springwoods Village – is now in phase one of it’s development. This Springwoods Village Community adjacent to the Exxon Campus is expected to send most of it’s children to Spring ISD.

According to recent news articles, there is land already available near Northgate Crossing Elementary School where a middle school can be built. In addition, there is land for anther high school and elementary school.

It is hoped among taxpayers that the tax revenue ExxonMobil will bring back to the school district will be helpful in revitalizing the district.
