(Montgomery, Texas – Feb. 28, 2013) Area garage sale enthusiasts will want to head to Woodforest April 6 and 7 as the development hosts its popular community-wide sale.
Last year’s response was so strong that organizers added a second day to the sale, which will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
Garage sales will be held at individual homes, with maps available at the Woodforest Homefinder Lodge, 101 Elk Trace Parkway. Woodforest now has more than 400 homes and more than 1,200 residents.
“Residents love the community garage sale and it’s such good timing for so many of them who have just moved into new homes and can sort through belonging as they unpack,” said Faith Bailes, community and Realtor relations director for the development. “We’ll host a second garage sale this fall.”
