First Time Home Buyers:

  • What’s the best loan for me? That depends on many factors. How long do you plan to stay in the home? How much money are you going to put down? How are you going to pay the closing costs?
  • Not sure what the tax benefits are for owning a home? You may be able to deduct the interest you pay on the mortgage loan and some of the financing costs, such as points.   • Will I have to pay PMI? Private Mortgage Insurance is usually on loans if your loan amount is greater than 80% of the sales price or approved value of the property, whichever is less.
